Get to Know Hatteras Island Seafood Boils and “The Original Boil Masters” Zack & Tricia Watson

Growing up in Charleston, SC Zack knew what Low Country Boils were all about. For years he would throw down boils at backyard parties and beach picnics. Fast forward after moving to Hatteras Island, NC to chase waves and enjoy the salty life of the Outer Banks he found himself continuing to throw down boils for friends and family for many different occasions.  After years of dedicated service as both a full-time and part-time firefighter at two departments, Zack made the decision to prioritize family time and surfing and embarked on a unique entrepreneurial venture: a Lowcountry boil business Hatteras Island Seafood Boils.

From its humble beginnings as an on-site only business, Zack’s venture has blossomed into a thriving food trailer operation, that’s when his wife, Tricia, decided to join him, and together they became a formidable husband-and-wife team working out of their food trailer.  As a real estate agent with NC 12 Realty and equestrian Tricia’s decision to come on board added a new dimension to the business, bringing her expertise in organization, customer service, and business management to the table.  Their partnership brought a sense of balance and efficiency to the operation, allowing them to meet the growing demand for their delicious seafood boils without sacrificing quality or customer satisfaction.

Their seafood boils have become legendary among Hatteras Island Locals and Visitors alike.  Zack and Tricia’s seafood boils have become a staple of community life on Hatteras Island, bringing people together in the spirit of good food and great company.
